30 February 2010You might call Jeff the wizard behind the curtain, or you might not. Truth is, Jeff manages all of FinishedWORK’s projects (no magic necessary). A true renaissance “design” man, he works with each client to ensure that even the smallest detail is considered and accounted for. His passion is design, and he practices his passion through graphic design (invitations, logos, brochures, announcements, etc.) and through architecture. He is formally trained in art and craft of architecture, holding both a Bachelor Degree of Design from the University of Florida and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas.
You might call Rebecca the glue that holds the details together. Rebecca’s role in FinishedWORK changes daily. When she’s not busy caring for their two sons, she works behind the scenes to ensure a balanced book, an accurate supply log, and an active role as critic to their work (she has quite the design eye herself). Rebecca spends her professional hours as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. She puts her creativity to work when working with kiddos with disabilities, teaching them the ins and the outs of life. She has also worked as a hand therapist, pint pourer (in a Scottish Pub), and of course… Super Mom to two super kiddos.
finishedWORK,LLC was established as a custom invite studio, creating unique invites for those wanting an alterative to the "formal-quo". We began creating invites in 2008, as Jeff Finn (Designer/Owner) created an invitation for a friend that was unique in style and superior in quality. Friend's and family's insistence that Jeff should offer his designs to the public, and hence, finishedWORK was created.
We saw the internet as a vehicle to bring our creations to engaged couples worldwide who wanted invites (not invitations). Today, the majority of customers find us through our website, on Etsy, or through word of mouth. We have produced thousands of invitations and have been viewed by couples in over 60 countries.

We are continually developing new invite sets based on your feedback, so if you'd like to see something particular, send us a note...
The Proof(s) We will work with you to select the color, font and style of your invitation. A digital proof will be emailed to you for approval. Spelling, layout, grammar and SPELLING, should be thoroughly scrutinized and finalized. Once a digital proof is approved, the item(s) will be put into production. The proof is sent out at 100dpi at least 48 hours after an order is placed (lead time is based on how many items are ordered and the amount of customization).
Production
Once your design is finalized and you have approved the proof, it will take approximately four weeks to create your invitations. However, we encourage you to begin the process at least six to eight weeks before you plan on mailing your invitations.
From your first contact with us until you receive your exquisite invitations, know that we will use our expertise and empathy to guide you along, step-by-step. It will be simple, it will be personal, it will be a pleasure. That is our commitment to you.

The Consultation
The process of design begins by understanding YOU, your wedding, your ideas, your vision.
During our initial consultation (via email) we will learn about your wishes for the wedding and the invitations. You may share inspirations with us that capture the feeling you want to express — like a meaningful place, a season or a cultural reference. We welcome and will happily include any ingredients you offer!
Fonts + Wording
Font selection and Wording are two important details to consider when we design your invites. During the design process, we incorporate your wording on all of your items. Balancing aesthetic appeal with technical information is what we do best. The font you select (serif, san serif, script or handwritten) adds to the intricate detail that describes your wedding celebration. Below are samples of each type of font we offer.
Additional Options
We also offer upgraded paper weights and styles as well as alternative printing techniques. If you have a specific paper, print method, or inclusion you'd like to have us incorporate, please let us know.
